Who: Noric, anyone
When: Day 52, early morning
Where: the common room
What: the fabled priest insanity of old
[It's early enough that most of the inhabitants of the common room right now are the dead batmonkey corpses. One person, though, is standing with one hand pressed to the glass, heedless of the blood stains on it.]
Wrong. This world is wrong ... I can't feel it here. There's nothing...
[Oh goody he's talking to himself in disturbing ways. Engage?]

Would that do?

No, I think that might be counterproductive. Then again it IS one of the more important phases of the grieving process.

Okay. No. I'm resisting.]
I'm afraid you'd need to clarify which part if you actually want explanation.

It's a little hard to grieve when things are already lost. And while I came out of it, because my world gave me little in return, the same cannot be said for the others who come here. Like Noric.

No, that's when one grieves.
... The one it's is for, is worth mourning. She truly was.
[He pauses, the last of Xavier's hate washing clear of his expression.]
Just not like this.

Yours do.
It... [He pauses for a moment, looking for the right words.] Your gift IS powerful, and could be quite helpful, but not in the mindset you are in.
It's love. Platonic, mind you, and in almost all cases, mutual. We remade them, and they formed us. A give and take that only really exists in that kind of relationship.
The hatred you have, the anger, is absolutely and utterly well founded and justified. It just may not be helpful there.
That's what I am saying.

...
There is a young woman from Delphinus in our apartment who has a similar gift. I can't honestly guarantee anything or even volunteer her as ... well. I really haven't talked to her. That would be just intolerably rude. But, should you need a resource, she might be quite able if you ask.
I'm usually out of the apartment in the mornings.
