[ He doesn't know what to say to that. He'd like to argue, but he can't work up the will to. ]
Perhaps my heart has changed too much.

i wonder what it must be like to not choose the shape of your own will
weird]
They can break like anything else. They can also be put back together, given new shape, so on.

Your ideals are idiotic, but not for the reasons you think. Your excuse is the world. "The wrong time, the wrong master", but the ideals themselves are still right and good in your mind. I don't know how many times I've killed fools seeking to follow their honor to the destruction of anything that stands against them. People with pride like that are the ones most likely to never understand that they aren't supporting what is 'right' just what they know and love best.
But one more fool in the world isn't going to end it any more than the last several thousand did. If your choices are between miserable half-belief and stubborn happy naivete, why are you even hesitating?

[ nope, totally not tearing up ]
I can't blink and go back to the way I was before.

not sure if proud or disappoint
my life]
You're a heroic spirit. There's no one in the world better suited to bullheadedly ignore the facts that make your ideals impossible.

now, he just shakes his head and tries not to crack too much ]
...I think we've said more than enough, for strangers.

maybe i will just send my saber at you
why isn't my old self around to fix people's heart things. asshole]
Giving up again? That becomes a habit, you know.
[sparkling the fuck out, though]
