(no subject)

Who: Albinia and YOU
When: Day 51, Afternoon
Where: Common Area
What: Event Thing and another Thing

[Suddenly there's a cold breeze in the common area this afternoon. And in a sudden flurry, a clear part of the room is now COVERED in snow and ice. More than deep enough to play in and there's large, square chunks of ice around, bigger than most people.]

[There's also a few tables. One with jackets and gloves. Another is covered in various tools, mostly stuff that looks like carving, but there's also salt, a few buckets, shovels, etc.]

[There's a sign saying 'Sign Up Here.' Below is a clipboard with a sign up sheet with the words 'Ice And Snow Architecture Contest.']

[Or you could just play in the snow, whatever.]

[Also, anyone trying to break the giant ice chunks before groups will find tools transporting back to the table. And ice not breaking if you try with your hands.]

((Sign in | Mingle | A Thing | Albinia | Teams | Contest Start | Turn In | Final Result ))

((Assigning groups at 6:45, see if more people sign up.))

[She unwinds it a bit, and slowly the wires begin to glow a bright, luminescent blue]

Play, if I'm being totally honest. Mostly I want to see how well this works here.

If it does, though, the wires will be good for carving finer details.

Oooh, smart! Not a bad way to go about it at all. Though I hope you have better talent than me for this.

Don't sell your own skills short! As long as you have fun, that's what matters, right?

Trying to comfort me? Don't worry, I don't make a habit of being humble. I know where my talents lie, that's all.

Fun's good, but winning is better...! But I do like this project.

It's a good way to test our creativity.

[And in her palm, the wire begins to unwind like an uncoiling serpent... then attacks the ice with vigor, carving various shapes and features into it]

[The features are rather out-of-place for the architecture; notably European in places, and more Japanese than Chinese in others. But they're mostly well-done, the wires creating clean, smooth lines]

[considering she's doing all the work, he can't really be picky.]

Not what I had in mind, but I like it.

[The wires lose their glow and she begins re-coiling them. She looks a lot more tired than she did when she started, but she's still smiling]

Ah, mostly I'm just glad to see it still works!

You shouldn't go overboard if it tires you out, you know. Sit down a little.

Mm, well... maybe just for a bit. We have time, anyway.

We're pretty much done already thanks to your alchemy anyway. No harm in taking it easy.
