What: murder! and i guess bathing

[idk what YOU are doing, but slick has gotten tired of being holed up and has headed downstairs to clear the baths of any renegade bathmonkeys so that he can then enjoy himself in a warm hotspring

I disagree. It is meaninglessness that most terrifies him. Since there can be no meaning in oblivion, he can only fear it.

I guess you might be right about that. He does keep clinging onto very awkward hopes that there's some special answer to his existence. But that's good for him, then. Fear is something.

Sake is good, but it alone is not sufficient to sustain one's life. Fear has its uses, but it's hardly justification for an existence.

There are two grown ones. I'm involved with the cleverer of them. And they both know different version of the priest quite well, apparently. One that has decided to indulge his desires and forsake his god.

Ah, well. I wouldn't go that far. But if you get along you can have fun with him and at his expensive but if you just have it at his expense you won't get past that.
