[idk what YOU are doing, but slick has gotten tired of being holed up and has headed downstairs to clear the baths of any renegade bathmonkeys so that he can then enjoy himself in a warm hotspring

His majesty and I were having a disagreement. He wanted to kill the goddess that keeps trying to get a bite out of him, and I didn't want him to because I depend on her to not be miserable.

... I'm not following how that leads to this.

We argued about it a bit and didn't want to end our contract over it but there wasn't much of another option. So I told him that I would accept my sorrow back if he would love again.
