Who: Wanijima Akito & A-T.
When: Day 11, early morning.

What: It's December 25th for them today.

[This is Akito wandering around, avoiding running in to too many people (specifically the Sabra people, for Reasons) while working up the courage to find the not!Ikki. Even though he's the wrong person... He still wants to be able to celebrate the holiday in some small way.

He's wearing the dark, navy blue leggings he arrived in and a light, white cotton shirt he got from a trade. The gift he got for the Ikki is held tightly in his palm, so tightly it leaves an imprint in his skin.

It's tiny, tacky, and didn't cost all that much, considering. It's something though. Less than what he would get for his own Crow, but more than he'd get for a stranger.

A-T is trotting along beside him, as per usual, and keeping a nose out for trouble while Akito keeps an eye out for an (ohpleasebesleeping) Ikki doppelganger.]

Ikki's currently somewhere peeling at the bandages on his neck, investigating the wounds there with his fingers like a true boy]

This better not scar . . .

[where the hell is his christmas miracle, huh? Q_Q]

It will if you stick dirty fingers in it, but you could always get Zhen Ji to put a tattoo over it if you hate scars so much.

[jerks in surprise and whirls to look at him]

. . . it ain't that, I just have enough of 'em already.

[He shrugs and begins picking at his own bandages, actively working to hide how uncomfortable he feels.]

Then what's one more?

I don't want any more.

Then stop doing stupid things.

[He tosses the crow trinket at him, fully expecting him to catch it.]

[snatches it out of the air, but doesn't look at it yet]

Excuse me if defending myself is stupid.

You put yourself in a situation where you'd need to defend yourself. [Awkward shruuug.] If you want to avoid scars then avoid those situations.

[huffs]

Don't talk about what you don't know, brat.

Don't tell me what I can and can't talk about. If you don't like what I say you can just ignore it, like everyone else.

So you can go off thinking I put myself in that kind of situation? Fuck no. I was talking to someone I knew, and the idiot didn't believe me, and shit got out of hand.

[Another small shrug. A-T snorts, much like Agito would be right now if he were awake.]

You probably tried to make them believe you and made the situation worse, resulting in an injury that will probably scar.

[He purses his lips for a moment, thinking.]

Dellen can probably fix it without leaving a scar.

He thought I was lying, and he found out later how much I wasn't lying. Whatever, think what you want.

. . . I don't need a god. If it scars, it scars, I'll deal with it.

[He switches to picking at his own bandaged arm, then remembers he was carrying something else to pay back Soubi.]

When you kill something give her its heart or lungs or ribs and she can fix your injuries for you.

[But he lifts his shirt up anyway, unraveling the bandages he wrapped around his stomach for transportation purposes, then tosses them at the not!Ikki.]

He killed something yesterday, so we stocked up on some necessities.

[And got a tattoo on their hip that Ikki might have noticed if he bothered to look at him.]

[catches them and immediately tosses them back, frowning]

You and Agito are worse than me, so keep 'em. If I need shit, I'll get it myself.

[he notices, but doesn't really say anything]

[He doesn't bother catching them.]

Consider it your other Christmas present.

It's the second day I've been here. For me, it's Christmas.

[A-T looks mildly disgruntled by that, and Akito nudges her gently with his foot:] Oh, be quiet - it's not like you don't get spoilt every day.

I'm not your Ikki, though.

You're the closest thing we have to anything familiar.

. . . see, every time you say it like that it's like you don't believe I'm Ikki at all.
