Where: the main 'Apt C' kitchen/living area
What: FAMILY DINNER!1

[YOU MIGHT HAVE NOTICED lawyer has commandeered the main kitchen this afternoon, and has been cooking for a while! There's a lot of...well, the equivalent of toasted sandwiches made with various types of meats divided into fancy triangles, cut up fruit made to look extra dainty, a simple kind of stir fry as a main dish, and finally CINNAMON BREAD (courtesy tiniest robin) with different homemade spreads. There's also enough juice and/or booze and or/wine for apartment. When did he have time to quest for these? WHO KNOWS, BUT IT HAPPENED. ]

[It may not be the fanciest but it all SMELLS and TASTES GOOD and gdit lawyer is pleased and also wearing a new red suit.]

Everyone is worth defending. It's just there's no need for it here.

If they've got an argument to make, it's worth hearing out. I'm not saying that will automatically make them innocent, but it makes judgment calls a lot easier.

No idea.

Only a shady, worthless defense attorney would let their client lie on the stand. Defense attorneys don't exist to get people off the hook, they exist to present the truth of a situation, whether it gets their client locked up or not.

That, and I can tell when someone is lying. I wasn't making up the fact that I do have one little power.
