or maybe you just are nosy or maybe you are pinged by swearing. which has happened with frequency about every fifteen minutes, and with vitriol.

but there's some girl sitting in an apartment up here. There's a pile of rocks next to her and a crazy magic circle on the ground in front of her with a rock shaped like a lopsided bowl in the middle. A lopsided bowl with a giant crack down the middle :T

There's also a notebook with some stuff written in it off to the side as well as some food on a plate ... study munchies '-' ]

You're pretty knowledgeable about magic and most likely know other people who are magic users. Beyond that you're also a fair judge of person or at least good at figuring out how to move them or feel them out, right?

He's important to you. Important enough that you would send him to me, even though I am someone you are not entirely sure of, and are still attempting to figure out.

Maybe too good at figuring things out! Besides, he's really annoying and I'd rather he get himself in working order before dealing with him further!

Far too good, yes. You were his Master before, and it was obviously a partnership where you grew comfortable enough with him to follow the impulses of your heart, rather than your head. As it is, he would likely contract himself to a rock for all that he will care about the person attempting to fill your place.

Why are you sending him to seek someone else?

I'm already contracted to Saber. A Master cannot hold more than one contract.

That does complicate the situation.

Saber is a superior Servant as well.

How so?

She's the best class, so obviously as a powerful magus I'd want to be contracted to a Saber class servant.

You admire her.

When I summoned Archer I was actually aiming for Saber.

What went wrong?

I was thinking something that lit up and also gave off a magical alert.

Certainly useful, given the frequency at which those here vanish into the wild.

Unfortunately, 'light' is one of the few elements on which I am inadequately qualified to give advice.

Is that one of the elements in your world? It isn't for us, but since light is a byproduct of energy or fire it's easy enough to create without the unnecessary parts.

Light and Darkness are the two defining characteristics of the universe as a whole. Your world is part of the Realm of Light; parallel to that is the Realm of Darkness.

It is a slightly more complex concept than simply the light of a fire, but it is used in spells that provide protection, purity, and hope.

Like a 'good' and 'evil'? Or more like a 'positive' and 'negative' in the sense of -- . . . [ trails off, thoughtful. ] A full cup and an empty one, I guess.

Full and empty may be another matter entirely, but positive and negative are a good analogy.

If one were to call for help, light would be the most appropriate choice.
