or maybe you just are nosy or maybe you are pinged by swearing. which has happened with frequency about every fifteen minutes, and with vitriol.

but there's some girl sitting in an apartment up here. There's a pile of rocks next to her and a crazy magic circle on the ground in front of her with a rock shaped like a lopsided bowl in the middle. A lopsided bowl with a giant crack down the middle :T

There's also a notebook with some stuff written in it off to the side as well as some food on a plate ... study munchies '-' ]

What are you experimenting with?

. . . [ sigh ] I was thinking about your police force idea and everything . . . It would be easier on everyone if people who went out into nature for things had flares or something in case they got lost or needed help or something. It's just something to pass the time though.

That is an excellent idea, though. Police force or not, people go missing often enough that having something of the sort would be rather useful when venturing into the jungle.

I can't get it right. [ pokes at the rock with a crack ] It could take me weeks to get close to the right spell . . .

Perhaps you could work with another Magus here. Or see if any of the gods here would be capable of providing something of use.

. . . working with someone . . . it might be useful. [ a bit of a shrug ] I don't really trust their powers to work out in the forest. They need us to fight for them, why would their powers work out there?

It does not necessarily need to be magic. They could provide the materials while you work on the technology.

Mm. The last task I had from Ambre to get some jewels was the one I needed Gilgamesh to help me with. [ u n s u r e ]

It was fine, but it's a lot to ask just for something like that. And there's some other stuff I probably need to use my favors on, now.

I have asked very little of the gods thus far.

I've only asked for a few things. And it's a lot easier to ask for things for other people from the gods. I'd rather -- own all my own things . . .

He's looking. He can probably survive without one -- for close to a week, if not more . . .
