That's my family, we Noah. Who have had his memories reborn in suitable humans every generation for the last seven thousand years, all to carry out his revenge.

And we were getting quite close, too. I carried that man's 'Pleasure', so I learned to enjoy tasks I wouldn't have as an ordinary human. Tasks like tearing out the hearts of hearts of 'His' servants and destroying 'His' weapons. How many times do you suppose god lifted a finger to help even one of them?

That's what I thought. How is that not abandonment? I've been helped more by complete strangers tossing a coin into a street than I ever was by any so called all loving god. Can you claim different?

What's all loving about that? I am among the cruelest people of any world but even I know you don't leave your children in gutters because they haven't proven themselves 'worthy'.

...this is the truth I realized some time ago. It didn't hurt me to realize it because unlike you, I never had any investment in god to begin with. But I'll share it with you anyway, you can decide for yourself if the reality you've seen is different.

Humans are all, without exception, disgusting and pathetic creatures. I don't regret the many I have killed because that is the sort of world they created for themselves long before I was born. Every person is thick with selfishness and ignorance and no life has any particular value beyond what we selfishly allot.

But every single human, without exception, is capable of and has shown greater kindness at one time or another in their life than your god has in the last seven thousand years. Even a rapist might bring a girl a flower, and even a murderer might spare a starving child a bit of coin. Even a man like me, who tortures others for my pleasure and has worked to end the human race, can move a hand to put someone out of their misery. Your god will do none of these things. You have never seen it and you never will.
