(no subject)

Who: Edward, Wander, anyone
When: Day 40, early afternoon
Where: coming from the 4th floor
What: TRIUMPHANT RETURN

[Look who's back from their nature exploration! Aside from both obviously being worn out and the bandage on Wander's leg, he and Edward seem to otherwise be unharmed.]

[There is a lot of nature stuck to Wander's sword, which he is kind of looking at now.]

Wander: Well, um, that was a good hunt.

Edward: It's too bad we don't have anything to show for it.

*shakes his head*

No, just attacked by trees.
nometal_alchemist: (We are missing by half what we wanted)

I know it doesn't exactly sound that impressive, but if you think about it, how do you fight against a tree when you're equipped to fight animals?
of_glory: (Bored of you now)

[personal profile] of_glory 2012-04-13 02:45 am (UTC)(link)
Alchemize an ax?

If you've found a way to work with the materials here, I wouldn't mind if you'd share it with me.

*tired sigh*

Normally that's what I would have done. Or even just deconstructed the trees directly. It's frustrating to not have that option.

I've never tried to deconstruct something alive before...
nometal_alchemist: Old Ed looking thoughtful (An excellent idea)

[personal profile] nometal_alchemist 2012-04-13 03:12 am (UTC)(link)
I'm sure with it being a tree, it'd work, if I could get past the understanding stage. Though we fought them back well enough without alchemy.
of_glory: (Ominous to say the least)

[personal profile] of_glory 2012-04-13 03:17 am (UTC)(link)
I just mean in general, I never thought to try and deconstruct something living.
nometal_alchemist: Old Ed looking thoughtful (An excellent idea)

[personal profile] nometal_alchemist 2012-04-13 03:42 pm (UTC)(link)
...Ah, that's right, you probably don't remember... I don't think I'd want to try it on an animal, but with a plant, even one that's attacking, it'd be okay with me.
of_glory: (This is less fun when I'm losing)

[personal profile] of_glory 2012-04-13 11:23 pm (UTC)(link)
More things I don't remember.
nometal_alchemist: Old Ed smiling or looking slightly perplexed (Just an old man)

[personal profile] nometal_alchemist 2012-04-14 12:52 am (UTC)(link)
There's a lot of those things, unfortunately.
of_glory: (You can't be THAT stupid)

[personal profile] of_glory 2012-04-17 02:29 am (UTC)(link)
I shouldn't be so bothered by it anymore.

[but he is]
nometal_alchemist: Old Ed looking serious or slightly sad (Those who would resign their souls)

[personal profile] nometal_alchemist 2012-04-17 02:37 am (UTC)(link)
I can't imagine not being bothered by missing most of your life.
of_glory: (My duty)

[personal profile] of_glory 2012-04-17 02:42 am (UTC)(link)
I guess it's the possessive part of it I'm still not sure of. I don't know who I'll be if I get those memories back. How do I know I'll be better for it?
nometal_alchemist: (Those ancient gods of mine and thine)

[personal profile] nometal_alchemist 2012-04-17 02:50 am (UTC)(link)
Because no matter what situation you were forced into, the Roy Mustang I knew was always a good man at heart.
of_glory: (What new dickery is this?)

[personal profile] of_glory 2012-04-17 03:01 am (UTC)(link)
It means a lot to hear that from you.
of_glory: (A little civil obedience)

[personal profile] of_glory 2012-04-17 03:08 am (UTC)(link)
Well, you're one of the few people who knows me as "Blaze". Not to mention the fact that you've obviously lived longer and experienced more than I have.
nometal_alchemist: Old Ed smiling (So much joy in life)

[personal profile] nometal_alchemist 2012-04-17 03:14 am (UTC)(link)
You did a lot of good in my timeline, too. You helped me and others around you when we needed it, and you helped the entire country become a better place.
of_glory: (Sexy librarian look)

[personal profile] of_glory 2012-04-17 03:21 am (UTC)(link)
... That sounds like me.
nometal_alchemist: Old Ed smiling broadly (An eternity that glows so brightly)

[personal profile] nometal_alchemist 2012-04-17 03:45 am (UTC)(link)
I don't think you have a lot to fear from regaining your identity.
of_glory: (Who took my buttons?)

[personal profile] of_glory 2012-04-17 03:49 am (UTC)(link)
Maybe I'll bite the bullet, then. So to speak.

... I haven't thought about getting more bullets for my gun yet.
nometal_alchemist: Old Ed looking surprised (It comes abrupt)

[personal profile] nometal_alchemist 2012-04-17 03:59 am (UTC)(link)
You have a gun?

Ah... let me know what you decide. I'm sure there's someone here who can help you out.
