I have to say there is little advantage to leading you false. As you said others may correct if I did and then it would simply lead to ill ends.

The food here is all poisoned if you need to eat that is a monopoly the gods have. I believe one of the gods does blessings. The nature here is quite unruly and what former power you had may be limited as well.

If you die here others may pay for your revival and the cost differs depending on which god you go to.

Shelter is plentiful and seems to have no cost other than securing it.

Securing it? I'm rooming with a man I knew in passing before, but that's to say we can take anywhere, as long as we can defend our claim?

More or less. I'm sure if someone else was living there they would put up a fight, but if it's empty or simply has nature in it then you may take it.

Yes. How finicky are people around here? About facing consequences when they deserve it?

Either way the end result is the same. Some might find the justification of 'deserved' well enough but if someone were truly to be against violence justification matters far less.

There are attempts at a police force of some kind but before that there has been individual attempts at revenge.

Have you encountered people who already deserve your ire?

No one's done anything worth punishing, but it's best that it's known I won't stand for it if anyone does!

Well, I would think that was somewhat expected. You do not wrong another without inviting being wronged yourself.

He is everything, of course. But one of us must keep an eye on the rest and that is my half of it. He does as he does and is as he is.

I don't get it, what makes strangers worthwhile, but if that's what you do.

It is more . . . we are very different in many ways but our friendship is far stronger than any of those differences.

Someone is important enough to overcome everything including your personal differences, yes?
