Who: Wanijima Akito/Agito & A-T
When: Day 9, afternoon
Where: Previously-uncleared area (with a good portion of it cleared out now)
What: Akito wanted to explore and Agito (and A-T) wanted to kill stuff. Win/Win. Come feast upon a dragzard corpse!

[Akito is sitting next to the corpse of a small emerald dragon-lizard and prodding it curiously with a twig. One of his arms is beat up quite soundly from a bite, blood dripping down to his palm and fingers at a fairly impressive rate, though Akito cleans it up absently with his tongue.

A-T is sitting next to him, looking smug (she helped kill the dragon-type Pokémon!) despite the worried glances she sends her trainer. Agito is decidedly smug as well, preening proudly in the back of Akito's mind in a way that makes the lighter half giggle a bit feverishly.]

It wasn't very big for a dragon, you know..! It's either a very small dragon or a very big lizard.

[He prods the creature's mouth with his stick, lifting its lips to inspect the fangs.]

Some kind of venom then, ne? That means it stores it somewhere...

They're venomous here?

Yes and no.

[He prods the dragon-lizard again.] The dragon-lizard attacked when I was looking at the Fairy Lights, so A-T and Agito used it for training.

[Akito gestures to the sunlight-emitting flowers to explain what he means by Fairy Lights.]

The wildlife here is interesting!

The bite induces dizziness and fever. Presumably non-fatal, but enough to incapacitate prey and other predators.

Yeah, I got distracted by those my first time out, too. They're pretty.

Who's A-T and Agito?

[whistles] Nice defense on him. Better to attack from a distance then. Or do they spit the venom too...?

[A-T fluffs out her fur, making her presence all the more obvious.]

A-T is A-T.

[He shrugs, gestures to his head, then continues inspecting their kill.]

And Agito is Agito.

[Crouching down, taking in A-T's cute, and venturing a guess:]

...A-T?

It seems restricted to bite-only. Spitting venom would be an ineffective waste of resources, unless it was also acidic, which it isn't, or can be absorbed through the skin, but that would take too much time to be useful.

[Prod prod. Still can't believe they killed something so cool. Ikki would be so...]

It's smart enough to be a danger though, even at such a small size.

It's bones were very easy to break, but its scales were difficult to cut through. It can climb on the vines, so it can pounce from the ceiling or the walls.

Did you see what they snack on?

[She seems pleased that he figured it out so quickly!

...but moves closed to Akito to keep him safe. And keep a close eye on him.]

Aside from me?

[He purses his lips, recalling anything that might be useful. It's difficult, with the fever and dizziness lingering, but he remembers something--]

It looked like it wanted the Fairy Lights. Its fangs aren't made for vegetation though.

[Still uncertain about the second name. Maybe the eyepatch kid speaks in third person! Or maybe there's a being he can't see. There's stranger things.]

It's negligible. Non-fatal. Not that I can die when I'm already dead, anyway.

I'm just waiting for the venom to wear off so I can try finding the venom pouches, and heart and lungs and ribs. And some meat to save for later.

[Thinking, thinking...]

The scales could probably be used for something, too.

Yes! Even when she's being uncute, she's still very cute.

Make some nice shoes?

Why would I need shoes?

It would make a good bag, to carry things back in. I could try making a bag for A-T too...

[Speaking of carrying things...]

Eeh... This will be hard to take back. Maybe I should just clear this whole spot and make it mine. Then I wouldn't have to move anything.

She's a Flareon! Level fifty, the last time I checked. Her move-set is very broad, and she knows how to cook pancakes on her back!

[Because teaching a Flareon how to be a stove is clearly the best way to train it.]
