Who: Snake, his snakes, and you!!
When: Day 8, later in the evening
Where: the shrine room
What: oh boy another new arrival!!

[SO THERE IS ANOTHER NEW DUDE only he's kind of scaly and he seems to have taken to the corner of the room by the door and he is sort of

covered in snakes (okay like, two)

one is like five feet and huge, the other is is shorter and skinny; both are intertwined around him in some way. he seems to be watching the entire room, agitated, and the snakes aren't much better off: their tongues flick out warily, with demeanors that make it seem like they'll bite someone without a second's notice.

that may be slightly worrying.]

[It's not like there's much space so he was just. Walking around. And passing by the shrine room, he notices THE SNAKES]

[oh god, it's my servant. That sure doesn't help with my desperately trying to believe I totally did not die]

... Snake.

[the human in front of you pauses a bit, and you see his skin turn blue and rocks sprout around the margins of his face]

[drawing his sword]

[but, pauses when you don't seem to be in any distress]

Are the snakes with you?

[--his tenseness drops, for a moment, in surprise pretend i have an icon for surprise]

--Smile--? Says Wilde.

[... well that doesn't make him less wary at all]

Identify yourself, says Webster.

[Snake bites are nothing to a man made of cloth]

Ah-- Sir, is that alright?

Zelgadis Graywords. You know, if you don't answer questions, someone might assume the snakes are from farther down the hall and think you're dinner.

[what even. doesn't look less suspicious but his snakes are flicking their tongues out quite a bit. snake himself just sort of . . . eyes him . . . mute for a few moments.]

. . . What are you? Says Webster.

[what do I even say to this.]

...hmpf. I guess at least one of you is taking his job seriously.

That is not what I asked, says Webster.

[he is quiet for a moment, coinciding with the smaller snake drawing itself up near his ear. his eyes don't leave zelgadis.]

... They would be foolish to attack, says Webster.

[I see you drawing your sword on my servant]

The snakes won't attack anyone unless he orders them to, and he's with me.

[quite obviously distressed, but less agitated since this is the real smile. accordingly, his snakes rein themselves back to less threatening postures.]

. . . I don't understand, says Wilde.

I gave you my name. I'm a sorcerer-swordsman who came to this place three days ago. Anything else I tell you probably would be meaningless.

And most people who have been here more than a day have a justified mistrust of the local animal life. Hell, if I hadn't noticed the lack of struggle and the fact you've arrived as a group, I'd worry myself. I don't know everything that lives here.

Then you know him.

[sheathes his sword]

Consider it a reflex on seeing something that could be the local wildlife looking for dinner.

[Looks between Snake and the... Snakes.]

I-I'm a mannequin. Webster is his name? Are these snakes your friends?

[UH]

Y'alright there, son?

[dismissively;] You do not smell human, says Wilde.

[and in a way that sounds vaguely like it was meant to be a question, but ended as a statement:]

This place is dangerous, says Webster.

[. . .]

They are my companions, says Wilde.

[an appraising look, snakes seemingly fixed on bobby.]

. . . Who are you? Says Webster.

Bobby Singer. . . . Which one've you is Webster?

Oh, that's good. You're Webster, and you're Wilde? [Looking at them both in turn, then facing Snake again] What about you sir? What's your name?

What does it matter? Says Webster.

Why? Says Wilde.

U-Uh... Well, it matters to introduce yourself. I'm Muppet.

It would be preferable to know where this is first, says Wilde.
