Whether he or you is selfish isn't something I care about.

You're the one that wanted to know what I was thinking. If you'd like, I can avoid rhetorical or conversational questions that seem to imply that I actually expect you to care. Or you could just not be a pain in the ass to talk to.

You worry too much about unimportant things. Either you are the most selfish person in the world, because you don't have any care for the way things are done, and you'll destroy every boundary to chase whatever ideal you're after, or the least, because your happiness is built on everyone else's.

It's the same whatever you call it. So why worry over it?
