[It's hard for a god concerned with bringing back civilization not to be restless lately--especially with how things had been progressing--Anima's "celebration" probably didn't put them in a better mood either.

Those gods still interested in pulling in new souls seem to have been having a hard time of it. Generally unused to working together in a large group for consistent periods of time, many gods have wandered off or become indisposed in various ways, and the number of them able or willing to donate their power keeps fluctuating. For a while now it seemed as if they were casting out their lines and coming back with nothing.

Even so, they continue to cast out blindly, but being unable to truly see beyond the borders of their own world's realm, to determine what's going wrong, it's difficult to say if this desperate bid has stopped working...

But today, something a little unexpected happens...]

[Today there are finally some new arrivals.

When the new souls take physical form, there is something indistinct there with them. At first it might seem like nothing, a uniqueness of the soul of that individual. But then the next also has that feeling, and the next.

Something unfamiliar seems to linger on their souls like a scent. The gods will feel something tugging at their fundamental beings, something in their mind that feels like it's about to speak, quickly fading now that the arrivals have bodies again.]
