[Maybe you have gotten used to the regular hum of the HQ's engines as it flies slowly over a rippling canopy. Maybe you even find their sound soothing as you drift off tonight... Or maybe you don't drift off at all, maybe wherever you are, whatever you were doing, you just find yourself inexplicably sleepy.

Whatever it is, you end up in dreams. Your dreams? Or someone else's? It's hard to say.]

((OOC: DREAM POST!

For those of you who have never participated in a dream post, everyone interested in running a character's dream posts a top level comment and people comment to that to be in that character's dream. There are basically no rules about how it works! Be a lucid dreamer, don't be, figure it out halfway through, push and pull between who controls the dream. w/e have fun! If you need an OOC excuse to be asleep you can totally assume Rew's power just made your character unreasonably tired at some point. Solitary dreamers will find ocean waters rising in and drowning out their dreams, but Rew won't be making any appearances in this post.))

it's silent, and nothing changes no matter what. In fact, there are no ripples when you splash]

[Huff. Well that's disappointing. He gives a couple more kicks, just for good measure, before frowning and heading towards the light.

Someone's going to hear about that let down]

[you get a hundred feet or so, with strange whispers in your ear

then, suddenly, the floor drops out and you fall into blackness]

[THAT WAS NOT WHAT HE EXPECTED. The whispers were a pain, but tolerable. The floor going out from under him is far less so, though he doesn't have much of a choice but to stare irately up at nothing as he falls]

[eventually you'll land

when you do, the scenery is suddenly a pretty, sunlit grassy hill, with woods and low mountains all around and the sound of a normal woodland day ]

[Oh... How disappointing.

It doesn't take him long to pick himself up and start down the hill - he doesn't have much interest in lying around in the grass or enjoying the scenery.]

I liked the other place better... can we go back there?

[Just in case someone is around]

[No answer! But as he walks he'll hear a strange hissing sound behind him

there is now a load of blood pouring down the hill, making the grass bend to produce that noise]

...oh, close enough!

[He doesn't mind turning to watch the blood, and will quite happily let it slosh around his legs, since that's what he was trying for in the first place]

[oh good! there is movement up on top of that hill now too]

Heeeyy!

[Gooonnna try to slosh his way back up there]

[there is a dying guy on the ground up here

he has been thoroughly eviscerated and is staring into space

there are also a lot of shifting, transparent images of people, mostly warrior-types, whispering just like in the first place

they're saying a lot of hateful things]

He might be awake and conscious, but that doesn't stop Shirou from kneeling down beside him and grabbing at the guts.]

Wow, you're pretty messed up, huh?

[slowly glances over

there is too much pain for more to make any difference at this point

not to mention he's hovering at the brink of death an this makes everything feel fuzzy]

So you don't mind if I take some of this, right? I don't think anyone's going to really help you. Those guys all sound pretty mad.

[If he had a tail, it would be wagging like mad]

...Who are you?

[so spacey and confused

[Goooonna tug on these guts to see if they're still attached to the rest of you.]

[they are, and he squirms a little]

That's okay, you all look the same on the inside.

[Hey, it's mercy, right? Helping someone along to the afterlife.

Yeah, seems pretty legit. He'll just go ahead and rip out whatever innards he's got in his hand to expedite the dying process.]

[can't muster anything more than a wince and a louder whine

there is a lot of blood, and it only takes another moment or two before his eyes roll back

and then the whole scene disappears back into the blood room]

[no god damn it he worked hard for those entrails. B(]

will you go towards the light again or play in the blood?]

until the person you helped die comes in from the light

he completely ignores you and heads for a new light point, though.]
