The short version is that we mustered a mass grab from a variety of worlds' afterlives without, per se, being able to simultaneously track any information like that. Your world is presumably out there somewhere, but we don't actually know where because any success we had was essentially totally random. It's about as easy as finding where the bucket of water you dredged up in the middle of the ocean came from in order to put it back exactly where it had been.
