Who: Chrysos, Ky, anyone
When: Day 64, late noonish (sometime after Albinia's storytime)
Where: Third floor stairs ---- common area --- the main doors and out
What: Trying out solutions!
[ amidst today's invasion of snakes, one might notice about this time that a much larger and thicker length of tubing now winds its way from the stairwell of the increasingly flooded second floor, connected to a gleaming mechanical device of sorts, with a thin cable stretching up from it to the nearest base of where-a-lantern-once-was.
A second, somewhat thinner tube extends from the machine and stretches all the way to the main doors and past them, to a brass nozzle-like thing in the hands of Engineer #1, back against the glass wall and facing the rain-sodden tree highway beyond. His makeshift crutch leans on the glass beside him. There may be some willful ignoring of the shenanigans of the Great Minibar of Kalidas over at the far end of the common area. ]
