First. Everything is poisonous. Everything. Even the water. Everything, animal, vegetable, fruit, nuts, whatever. If you want to eat something, you have to take it to Dellen's shrine to be purified before you can eat it. I take care of purifying, butchering, and cooking food three times a day, so come to the kitchen to eat. Again, you starve, you die, we're all in shit, so don't complain, just come eat. It would be nice if you'd chip in kills and foraged stuff, but you can't do that hungry.

Second. Everything wants to kill you. Everything. The plants, the animals, everything native to this world except the gods themselves wants you dead. We're safe here, because this is a protected area. Go out of it, though? Be ready for a fight. And a nasty one. If you had powers back home? They're clipped. You're weak. I'm not making fun of you, I'm telling you how it is--any powers have been shrunken.

Third. These are the shrines, that's the directory. [pointing] Read the directory, you'll want to know which god gives what and does what and what they'll want in exchange. You can ignore 'em if you really want, but your life here is going to suck. Better to just get over it and deal with them if you need things.
