But if there's no evidence, I wonder if that's a theme between the other disappearances, too. It's too familiar to really consider it a coincidence.

. . . in Sabra, when someone went missing, there really was no sign that they had until you noticed they were gone. Either taken by one of the gods, or taken by the Earth.

I'm wondering if it's similar here. Aside from the obvious answer, which is getting lost out there while exploring, how do the people who don't go out there regularly go missing?
