[Despite the loud wake up call and some uneven tilting of the HQ to maneuver out of the mountains, in the end it is landed without incident on a large hill at the fork of a large rushing river, overlooking a vast expanse of grassy plains.]



[The sun is bright and the sky is clear. The breeze is warmer here than the chilly winds up in the mountains and it feels like spring is in the air. Off in the distance, their furry backs and long curved horns visible above the extremely tall grasses, one can make out herds of elephant-sized creatures grazing slowly in the fields. Beyond them, just at the edge of vision, seems to be the sparkling waters of a lake.]

...She's right. There are ruins here. Well, it makes sense we would find more.

There may be something for us to salvage, though. There were ruins like this all across my old world. If you knew what to look for... well, you could count that ship amongst what we've already found.

You think so? Nana was talking about making a real town here, with, with shops and roads and things like that, I wonder what it would have looked like. Maybe we'll find one if we explore more, even if they're salvagable they'd likely be different from the ship. These ruins in the ground don't look like they ever flew.
