What: WELL THAT SUCKED

[So by now you've probably scrambled to salvage what belongings you could and are looking into whatever temporary housing is available in the non-flooded areas. Thankfully level four is rather spacious, so why not find somewhere to crash? There's probably a fairly large congregation of people milling about the fourth level by now.]

We have room in building A-1 and some extra bedding if anyone needs somewhere to stay for now. And if you have any space of your own to offer up, now's probably the time to say something.

[Coming down just outside of A-1 from the roof, he looks tired, or something is bothering him, and he seems to have acquired Tyki's coat and forgotten to give it back, his own hands are stuffed in the pockets for now, his jacket is looped over one--

He's deep in thought, so it's quite easy to surprise him right now.]

[... well, he's not TRYING to surprise you, but]

Leo...?

[He jerks, but then settles when he recognizes the voice and turns tiredly. His coat is dry at least, the rest only vaguely damp, and hey - he's a bit relieved to see you even though they didn't get very good reception in their attempts to negotiate the cease flooding.]

-- Chrono... you made it out. I hate to ask, but do you have anything to drink?

Did you seen Elliot come down?

I did, he's agreed to stay with us for now. He's looking for one of your roommates at the moment, I think.

I can get you a glass of clean water. Come sit down.

That sounds like Elliot. [Follows, looking exhausted, but not quite deciding to sit down like he probably should as he looks to the door.]

I should catch up to him-

If he's not back in fifteen minutes, go look for him. But for now you should at least catch your breath.

[sighs and sits down. His posture is exceptionally good for a moment when he should be resting. He'll glance your way through bangs, but he won't look directly at you.]

.. Alright.

[He quickly busies himself with fetching the water, returning a few moments later and handing it to him, not-so-subtly looking him over for injuries in the process]

[doesn't appear to be injured at all, so except for some drying clothes, he looks just tired, but he drinks the water remarkably fast, guzzling every last drop and doesn't mention anything about it on his own, he looks a little weary around you, actually, now that you look closely]

[... I'm used to people acting that way around me, honestly, but I can't remember doing anything to earn it yet 8(a]

[nothing at first, then after several seconds, he finally talks, loosely holding the empty glass, there's a smile, but it's hard pressed - forced on his face]

Elliot and I aren't going to run a distraction anymore. It's a little too dangerous, and it took a lot more energy than I expected to get up here with Jabberwock.

Chrono, do you know what happened to make the rain clouds appear on the third level?

[Odd... though the first bit is relieving to hear, and it shows.]

Yukari happened, as far as I know. Why?

[after a moment of thinking, he rubs a hand over his face..]

You talked to Glen last time. [frowns] I'm sorry.

[Shrugs, almost casually. This is clearly a trauma ping for you, so not drawing attention to it is probably the best option.]

It's fine, you don't have to apologize. No harm came of it.

[he idly swings a leg out before pulling it back in, and turns his head to look at Chrono]

... So.. this other form you have..?

[This conversation is always awkward... shifts a bit]

It saves more power than the other one... basically. It's not normally a problem, but since our powers are so limited here, it's better to conserve energy.

That sounds like a smart idea. I was surprised when you were shorter than I was.. [he just might be laughing at that-]

Ah, you made it up here, too. [Also not trying to surprise, but he does recognize that coat from somewhere...]

AH- [turns, then nods once] Pretty quickly. We knew it was coming, and we didn't have much to take.

So you and yours are alright then? [He barely caught sight of the Kandas, but he hasn't found them up here yet.]

[nodding] I'm sure Shepard and Chris are fine. Elliot came up with me. It's not unlivable downstairs, but not everyone has a bed off the floor, so we'll probably relocate up here.

[removes his hands from the pockets to shift his jacket to his other arm]

Do you live on this floor, or were you staying below?

I was living on the other floor, but I haven't seen my roommates. But they aren't fragile when it comes to water, I'm sure they're smart enough to find their way from wherever they are.
